Stan’s work reflects deep cultural traditions, powerful storytelling, and an authentic connection to Country.

Our Collaboration

Recently, we came together with Stan for him to create an original artwork piece that reflects our values, weaving together themes of creativity, connection, and respect for culture.

This collaboration has been an enriching journey of learning, appreciation, and cultural exchange. We are thrilled to see Stan’s vision come to life and can’t wait to share the finished artwork with our community.

Painting Representation

This artwork reflects the deep cultural connection between people, water and the Milky Way. At its centre, the waterhole represents the spirit and source of life, while the brown shape resembles an eye, piercing through the water and looking up at the Milky Way. A man and woman act as guardians while the blue and white patterns symbolise the connection to the Country. The coolamon, a traditional wooden vessel, signifies nurturing, life, and connection to the Country, while the boomerang represents cultural endurance and tradition. 

Together, these elements honour family, land, and ancestral knowledge as the foundation of life.
